How often should i change my filters?
Heating and A/C filters should be changed twice a year. Water filters should be changed every 4 months.

Yes if you have more than 4 grains of hardest in your water, which can be determined my testing your water. Another way to tell is if you have staining in your fixtures or if you aerators get plugged frequently or if you have scale build up on your shower heads or faucets.

Once a year along with a lab test if you feel there are any concerns.
